Carlotta is a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and has worked therapeutically with children, adolescents, young adults and parents for 15 years in a variety of NHS and third sector settings. Carlotta has extensive experience of supporting children and young people presenting with a wide range of difficulties including depression, low mood, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, attachment difficulties, complex and intergenerational trauma, neurodevelopmental needs and distress related to gender identity. Carlotta also developed a special interest in working with children under 5.
Alongside her work with children and adolescents, Carlotta offers consultations to parents and helps them to better understand and connect with their children, and support them to navigate the transitions throughout parenthood. She creates for parents a safe space, where feelings, worries and questions can be shared without judgment.
As a psychotherapist, Carlotta draws on a range of theoretical frameworks and keeps in mind the whole person; the mind and the body.
Carlotta can work in English and Italian.
