Competence Framework

The ACP's Competence Framework for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists at the Point of Qualification identifies the skills and knowledge acquired during their training.

The Competence Framework is an interactive map that opens in a new window by clicking on the image below. Each numbered box on the map can then be clicked to access further information on that competence. It describes a framework of the relevant competences, and discusses how this should be applied and its advantages for clinicians, trainers, managers and commissioners.

Below the map you will find a document which introduces and describes the Framework including how it was developed, the evidence it drew on and how to use and apply it.
