This report from 2018 was the ACP's response to the House of Lords Select Committee Inquiry on Regenerating Seaside Towns and Communities in which we focussed on mental illness and the provision of child and adolescent psychotherapy
Seaside towns and communities face a range of complex challenges including the mental health of children, young people, their families and carers. The report demonstrates that particular attention should be paid to the mental health needs of vulnerable children and young people in coastal communities. At the same time we evidence an absence of specialist child and adolescent psychotherapy provision in the majority of these communities.
