Health Education England (HEE) is delighted to announce plans to expand the number of training places for NHS Clinical Psychologists and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists, from September 2020.
ACP CEO Nick Waggett responded: This is excellent news for Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology and especially for those infants, children, young people and families who need greater access to specialist psychological and psychotherapeutic care and treatment. It demonstrates our role as core NHS professions providing treatment, supervision and leadership that should now be available in all NHS services.
