Employment Standards Group Lead

Following the sudden and shocking news of Eve Grainger’s death at the beginning of September there is a significant space for someone to lead the Employment Standards Group. This is a critical role for those working in the NHS, the Third Sector and Groups of Independent Practitioners.

The group meets together two or three times a year and the discussions are informative and give a wider perspective of employment for qualified child psychotherapists across England the devolved nations. Members of the group provide:

Registrar/ CPD Lead and Deputy Director of Professional Standards Committee

The Registrar and CPD Lead is a key role in the profession. It is critical in ensuring all members maintain high professional standards and in this way, protect the public

  • You have the opportunity to develop leaderships skills within the ACP.
  • Contribute to strategy relating to regulation and registration issues within the profession.
  • Support members of the ACP at different points in their careers.
  • Develop new policies as needed.
  • Oversee procedures around CPD and registration for the ACP.
