ACP member, Claire Hopkins, was interviewed on BBC Radio Leeds on the 1st of February 2021. Claire lifts the lid on the need to listen and understand children, as well as giving them a voice. She brings to light how self expression means children are able to master their experiences, giving them a sense of agency. She also mentions the strain on adult parent mental health too and ideas of how to express yourself.
