Speakers: Duncan McLean, Morris Stambler, Flavia Ansaldo, Adelheid M. Staufenberg, Luiza Rangel and others

The Colloquium is a regular event organised by the Anna Freud Centre’s Child Psychotherapy Services. It is a great opportunity to network with other UK and international child psychotherapists and discuss clinical material. There will be a number of papers and workshops presented during the two days and also opportunities to discuss cases in small groups. This year’s two main papers are:

Morris Stambler, MD, private practice of Adult and Child Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis in Newton Centre, MA. Faculty, Boston Psychoanalytic Institute, and PINE Psychoanalytic Center: ‘Down in the Digital Mine; Psychoanalytic treatment of a computer addicted dis-regulated nine-year-old boy.’

Flavia Ansaldo, a trainee Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist working in the NHS in south London: “ ‘I will be gone forever!’  A latency-aged girl’s predicament of being lost and found. “

Fee: £280 for the two days (includes lunches on both days and evening wine reception) * Limited discounted rate availible for members of the ACP who write an article on the event, or help with a task over the two days.
