Following the sudden and shocking news of Eve Grainger’s death at the beginning of September there is a significant space for someone to lead the Employment Standards Group. This is a critical role for those working in the NHS, the Third Sector and Groups of Independent Practitioners.
The group meets together two or three times a year and the discussions are informative and give a wider perspective of employment for qualified child psychotherapists across England the devolved nations. Members of the group provide:
- Advice for employees and employers,
- Provide assessors for interviews of posts with a higher banding.
- Develop guidance for members in terms of competencies and career development.
