Training Council Members 

We are looking for both Lay People and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists to be members of the ACP Training Council.

About the Role

The ACP Training Council is the committee which sets the standards for our training and accredits the five training schools across the UK. 

We have an agenda to develop the quality assurance and competence frameworks to train Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists meet the needs of infants, children and young people and their families. We also seek to increase access to training and increase its equality, diversity and inclusion. Members of Training Council also attend the Training Development Group where they work with the Heads of Training on developing standards. 

Time Commitment: Training Council and Training Development Group meet on a Friday every two months. Members need to undertake other limited tasks between meetings.
