Dear ACP Trainees,
We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our new online ACP Trainee Forum which will be a termly event and open to all trainees (years 1-4) from the 5 training schools (Human Development Scotland, BTPP, NSCAP, Tavistock and Portman & BPf).
The forum will be an opportunity for trainees from across the UK to connect with each other and hear about the wider ACP community. In the forum we will also invite trainees to participate in the task of planning a new designated trainee section at the annual ACP conference. You will hopefully be aware that the theme for the 2024 online conference is ‘Inside Digital Lives; Growing up in the Information Age’. We are keen to ensure that trainees have a regular voice and input into the conference so that it meets your interests and training needs.
The ACP Trainee Forum will be held online via Zoom on 10:30 – 12:00 on the following dates:
- Friday, 23 February 2024
- Friday, 19 July 2024
- Friday, 11 October 2024
The forum will be chaired by Kate England, Director of Community Matters and Elena Della Rosa, Deputy Director of Scientific Development.
We will also be joined by Maya Flexer, Social Media Lead and Claire Pestana, Community & Events Manager who will both share additional opportunities for trainees to connect with the wider ACP membership including social media platforms, communications and events.
Please put these dates in your diary and we hope to see you at the initial forum on Friday, 23rd February.
If you have any questions about the forum before this date, please feel free to email Kate England on kate.england@childpsychotherapy.org.
