The next ACP event is on Adolescent Depression taking place on Friday 6th October in Birminham and is open to Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists as well as multi-disiplinary clinicians, service managers and commissioners.
The programme begins with a presentation on diagnostic, neauro-biological and developmental research followed by presentations on STPP, models of work with severe depression and with parents.
Effective inteventions underpinned by psychoanalytic approaches and shaped by multi-disciplinary clinical research will be the focus of this conference.
Presenters include Julia Britton, Lynn Conway, Deborah Marks and Dan McQueen. In collaboration with Forward Thinking Birmingham, service users will describe their experience of an innovative drop-in service.
