Adolescent Depression; Real Conversations about What Works Now

Friday 6th October

Following the IMPACT trial which compared the outcomes for different treatments for adolescent depression, the Association of Child Psychotherapists is organising a day conference in Birmingham. This conference will present effective therapeutic interventions for adolescents with complex mental health difficulties related to depression. The focus will be on attending to the developmental tasks required to work effectively with the despair and anger that are core features of young people who fall into crisis.

The conference is for child psychotherapists, multidisciplinary clinicians and service managers in health, education, the third sector and social care.

More details to follow.
