On July 4th 2017 the Children’s Commissioner for England, Anne Longfield, published a report on vulnerable children in England.
Dilys Daws is Honorary Consultant Child Psychotherapist at the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust, London and is a Visiting Consultant at the Baby Clinic of the James Wigg Practice, Kentish Town. She was Chair of the Association of Child Psychotherapists and was Founding Chair of the Association for Infant Mental Health UK in 1976 and is now an Adviser. She won the Waimh Award for Contributions to Infant Mental Health in 2002 and the PIP-UK prize in 2016. Publications include Through the Night: Helping Parents and Sleepless Infants, and Finding your Way with your Baby: the emotional life of parents and babies, written with Alexandra de Rementeria, which won First Prize in the Popular Medicine Section of the BMA Medical Book Awards 2016.
