 l and personal risks. This timely and thought-prov
 oking seminar\, chaired by Jo Goldsmith\, brings t
 ogether two experienced clinicians to explore some
  of the less frequently discussed challenges facin
 g Child and Adolescent Psychotherapists today.</p>
 \n \n <p>Through two focused presentations followe
 d by a live roundtable discussion\, speakers will 
 examine the realities of professional vulnerabilit
 y in clinical practice - from the impact of an unf
 ounded allegation\, to the management of violence 
 and aggression in the consulting room. The session
  will offer practical reflections\, systemic insig
 ht\, and space for shared thinking about how psych
 otherapists and supervisors can work safely and th
 oughtfully in increasingly complex environments.</
 p>\n \n <p>Tim Smith will explore the dynamics and
  processes of unfounded professional allegations\,
  including the systems and procedures involved whe
 n concerns are raised. He will also consider how C
 APTs can think proactively about managing and miti
 gating these risks within assessment and clinical 
 processes.</p>\n \n <p>Ariel Nathanson will discus
 s the risk of violence and aggression towards CAPT
 s in the consulting room\, with particular attenti
 on to the role of service supervisors in assessing
  suitability for intensive training cases and supp
 orting practitioner safety.</p>\n \n <p>The webina
 r is open to qualified members of the Association 
 and will include an opportunity for audience quest

 nters</u></h3>\n \n <p><strong>Tim Smith</strong> 
 is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapi
 st working in community CYPMHS for CWP NHS Foundat
 ion Trust where he is also the Clinical Director f
 or Cheshire East services. He maintains a small\, 
 hybrid private practice with adolescent and young 
 adult patients online and in-person in London. He 
 is currently co-editing two books\; one with Debbi
 e Hindle on psychoanalytic readings of films about
  childhood\, and another with Jani Santamar&iacute
 \;a on the clinical applications of Bion&rsquo\;s 
 theories to work with children\, adolescents and y
 oung adults.</p>\n \n <p><strong>Ariel Nathanson</
 strong> is a Consultant Child\, Adolescent and Adu
 lt Psychotherapist. He worked at the Portman Clini
 c for many years\, specialising in the assessment 
 and treatment of children\, adolescents and young 
 adults who display sexually harmful\, delinquent a
 nd violent behaviours. He has a private practice w
 here he clinically works with adolescents and adul
 ts\, supervises and teaches.</p>\n \n <p><strong>J
 o Goldsmith</strong> is a Consultant Child and Ado
 lescent Psychotherapist. She worked in CAMHS for m
 any years providing direct work with parents and b
 abies as well as highly risky adolescents. Jo is t
