Deputy Director of Scientific Development

We are seeking a Deputy Director who can help to take this exciting and challenging work forward.

This role requires you to think creatively, to actively have an overview of all four areas of our work, to provide leadership and to enable members working in different parts of the ACP to collaborate with each other and with ACP staff, in particular the Community and Events Manager, who supports the work of the committee.

As Deputy, you will help the Director to lead the work of the Scientific Development Committee, giving you a chance to learn while in Deputy role, to step up into the Director role following a further selection process. Once appointed, there will be discussion about which particular areas of work will fall to you.

Time commitment: We are looking for members who can start immediately (or, as soon as possible) (both roles at one session which is 3.75 hours per week) working alongside Marie Bradley, the current Director of Scientific Development. Prospective candidates need to be available to work on Fridays. 

Remuneration: One session per week (3.75 hours) for both roles, with a current honorarium of £463.50 per session per month. The term of office is for a minimum of two years.
