ACP member contributes research to charity's work on infancy contact

Building on research by child psychotherapist Jenny Kenrick published in 2009, children's charity Coram has been raising awareness of the impact of contact arrangements on vulnerable infants who are the subject of care proceedings.

You can read Coram's response to the Department for Education's Review of Contact Arrangements for Children in Care (August 2012) which is an example of how the charity, which is committed to improving the lives of the most vulnerable children and young people in the UK, influences policy.

It highlights the need for improved guidance to ensure the infant's experience is taken into account when making contact arrangements.
